Cry In My Heart

There's a cry in my heart
For Your glory to fall
For Your presence to fill up my senses
There's a yearning again
A thirst for discipline
A hunger for things that are deeper

Could You take me beyond?
Could You carry me through?
If I open my heart?
Could I go there with You?
(For I've been here before
But I know there's still more
Oh, Lord, I need to know You)

For what do I have
If I don't have You, Jesus?
What in this life
Could mean any more?
You are my rock
You are my glory
You are the lifter
Of my head
Lifter of this head

Isaiah 53:5-11
But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was opressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter. and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth. By opression and judgement he was taken away; ...Yet it was the will of the LORD to crush him' he has put him to grief; when his soul makes an offering for guilt, he shall see his offspring, he shall prolong his days. the will of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied.
